The Performing Arts Medicine Association is an organization of dedicated individuals who are involved in all aspects of performing arts medicine. Please use this website to discover the benefits of membership, to link to other performing arts medical sites, to review our bibliography and our official journal "Medical Problems of Performing Artists," and to learn about our annual symposium held in conjunction with the Aspen Music Festival each summer. This year PAMA will join with the ACSM and other related organizations to develop a program titled "Athletes and the Arts" to raise the awareness of arts medicine and to incorporate the principles of sports medicine. We look forward to initiating this program in August 2011.
Please join us this summer in Aspen-Snowmass for our twenty-ninth annual symposium to learn the most current concepts in the field, enjoy the ambience of the mountains, and the performances at the Aspen Music Festival and the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Company.
