Guidelines to Access Articles

Clarification regarding access to articles listed in the PAMA website:

  1. The availability of MPPA articles from its website are free to PAMA members. There is a charge to others (details are listed on the MPPA website).
  2. Other articles listed in the PAMA bibliography might be available through Google Scholar.
    1. Type in the first 5-6 words of the title, with quotation marks at both front and back. The results often indicate which ones are available free as .pdf files by a single click.
    2. Open each of the individual search results; information will tell how to obtain a paid copy, or if one is free.
  3. Other possible sources
    1. Requestors may have access to a medical or arts (music especially) library near them, or through the efforts of a friend or other contact.
    2. For newspapers and other periodicals (such as Dance Magazine), public libraries' archives are a good choice.
